Alight Motion for iOS: iPhone and iPad Guide

Alight Motion for iOS is available for compatible iPhone and iPad devices through Apple’s App Store. The published minimum is iOS or iPadOS 14.4. Use the App Store build for Apple devices—an APK is an Android package and cannot be installed as an iPhone app. Before replacing a phone, offloading, deleting or reinstalling Alight Motion, back up important projects because account sign-in does not sync locally stored projects.

How to Download Alight Motion on iPhone or iPad

Download Alight Motion from the Apple App Store

  1. On the intended iPhone or iPad, launch the App Store.
  2. Search for Alight Motion and open the listing that matches the seller recorded above.
  3. Confirm the device meets the displayed compatibility requirement.
  4. Tap Get or the download-cloud control and complete Apple’s authentication.
  5. Open the app, then sign in only if you need membership access or another account-linked feature.

If search results are unclear, use the checked App Store URL rather than an ad, copied download button or unrelated configuration profile. Installation success does not prove that every complex project will run smoothly. Check Alight Motion system requirements before working on demanding projects.

Verify the Installation Before Importing Projects

Open the installed app from its App Store product page once, then record the app version shown by the store and the iOS/iPadOS version on the device. Create a short disposable project, save it, close the app and reopen it before moving valuable work. This confirms only that the current installation can create and retain a basic local project.

Next, test one Project Package import with non-sensitive sample media. Record whether the link opens Alight Motion, whether the import completes and where the imported item appears. Do not use a successful sample as proof that every older package, font, codec or linked asset will transfer. Preserve the original device and backup references until the important destination projects have been opened and checked.

iPhone, iPad and Mac Availability

Alight Motion support identifies iPhone and iPad as the Apple mobile devices on which the app is available. Apple’s listing separately shows compatibility for each device class and OS version. Treat that live compatibility panel as the decision source for the current storefront.

Do not assume that “iOS,” “iPadOS,” “macOS” and Apple silicon are interchangeable. An iPhone/iPad listing can sometimes show availability on another Apple device, but that depends on the storefront and device. Check the current listing and the PC and Mac availability guide before choosing a desktop setup.

APK, IPA and “No Watermark” Searches

An APK is an Android installation file; it cannot be installed on an iPhone or iPad. An IPA is an iOS app file, but a filename alone does not prove that it will install or work. Use a distribution route that identifies the app and its signer before downloading.

The App Store listing describes a free tier with basic features and a watermark. Paid membership options remove the watermark and access premium features. See Alight Motion pricing for plan choices and watermark removal if an exported video still shows the mark.

No separately tested iOS installation file is available here. A version label or “safe” badge does not prove that an IPA will install, remain signed or work. The checked App Store listing is the available download route for iPhone and iPad.

Using a Membership Across iOS and Android

A membership and the projects created in the app are separate things. Alight Motion support documents cross-platform membership use when the relevant accounts are aligned:

  • iOS devices use the same App Store account associated with the purchase;
  • Android devices use the Google Play account associated with the purchase;
  • devices across both platforms sign into the same Alight Motion account;
  • billing and renewal remain with the store where the membership was purchased.

The support guidance also records a three-device sign-in limit for one Alight Motion account and does not permit more than one user to share one membership. Plan prices and purchase options vary by region and account; compare the offer shown on your device with the pricing guide.

Seeing membership access on a second device does not mean project files moved there. Membership entitlement belongs to the account/store layer; project continuity requires a separate transfer.

Protect and Transfer iOS Projects

Alight Motion projects are saved locally in the app on the device, not inside the Alight Motion account. Signing into the same account on a new iPhone or iPad can restore eligible account access, but it does not populate the Projects tab with work stored on another device.

Before deleting the app or changing devices:

  1. Open each important project and select the export control.
  2. Choose Project Package and complete the upload.
  3. Save the resulting Alight link and QR code somewhere independent of the device.
  4. Confirm the saved link can be retrieved before altering the existing installation.
  5. On the destination device, open the Alight link or scan the QR code and choose Import when prompted.

The imported item may appear in the Templates area after processing. Keep original media and custom fonts available as part of the migration record. A project package, XML file, rendered video and source-media backup serve different purposes; one should not be presented as a complete substitute for all the others.

Deleting or reinstalling the app can permanently delete locally stored projects and elements. If work is already missing, stop experimenting with reinstall cycles and use the project recovery guide. Detailed format workflows belong to the XML guide and QR code guide.

Why Alight Motion May Not Appear in the App Store

The support documentation identifies two primary causes: the device may not be supported, or the app may not be available in that country. Check the following without switching to an unrelated download page:

  • the iOS/iPadOS version and device compatibility panel;
  • the active App Store country or region;
  • whether parental, organization or content restrictions affect discovery;
  • the direct checked listing URL;
  • whether the App Store reports a device-specific availability message.

Record the exact message and storefront before troubleshooting. A missing listing is an availability diagnosis, not evidence that an APK or unsigned profile is the correct replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Alight Motion available on iPhone and iPad?

Yes. Alight Motion is available for compatible iPhone and iPad devices through Apple’s App Store. Availability can still differ by device and country, so verify the listing’s compatibility panel and storefront before relying on a copied download page.

Where can I check whether Alight Motion works on my iPhone or iPad?

Check your device and operating-system version against the current App Store compatibility panel. The dated minimum and device considerations are explained in the Alight Motion system requirements guide.

Can I download an Alight Motion APK on iPhone?

No. APK is an Android application-package format and does not install as an iPhone app. For iPhone or iPad, use the compatible App Store listing. Do not treat an APK download button as an iOS distribution route.

Will Alight Motion projects appear on a new iPhone after I sign in?

No. Projects are stored locally in the app and are not saved in the Alight Motion account. Back up important work as Project Packages and retain the resulting links or QR codes before reinstalling or moving to another device.

How do I access an existing Alight Motion membership on an iPhone?

Sign in using the Alight Motion account associated with the membership and the required store account. Billing remains with the original store, and projects do not transfer through sign-in. See the pricing and membership guide for cross-platform conditions and limits.
