Is Alight Motion Free? Pricing and Premium Guide

Alight Motion offers a free tier with basic editing tools, but Free exports include a watermark. Paid membership options remove the watermark and provide access to premium effects and features. Prices, billing periods and trial offers vary by platform, country, account and promotion, so the checkout screen—not a copied global price—is the final purchase record.

The published listings do not establish one fixed layer limit, a universal 4K export entitlement or a permanent lifetime plan. Check the offer shown in your account and region before paying. For editing features, see the Alight Motion guide.

How can you check the price in your region?

Alight Motion does not have one price that applies to every region and account. Open Membership Options in the app or its store listing to see the offer available to you. No regional price comparison is published here, so a date alone should not be mistaken for a verified price.

Before confirming, compare the plan name, duration, price charged today, renewal amount/date and whether tax is included. A weekly offer can have a lower entry amount but a higher long-term cost than a monthly or yearly option. Different users may see different promotions or plan labels.

Which Option Fits Your Use?

Choose Free when you are learning the interface, testing device performance, building practice projects or can accept the watermark and available feature set. Complete a representative edit and export before paying; this tests whether the workflow suits your device and projects.

Consider a paid membership when watermark-free exports and the currently displayed premium library are requirements rather than preferences. For occasional work, compare the shortest suitable billing period with the project deadline. For repeated work, compare total cost across the period you realistically expect to use the app.

Do not choose only from a “monthly equivalent” headline. Use:

total expected charge = price due now + scheduled renewals during intended use + displayed tax

Then record the cancellation deadline. A yearly offer may have a lower effective monthly figure but creates a larger upfront commitment. A trial may reduce today’s charge while still scheduling a paid renewal.

Compare Plan Labels Without Guessing

Plan names such as weekly, monthly, yearly, Lite, Premium, Cloud or “with free trial” may describe different duration, storage or promotional conditions. Do not assume two similarly named plans have identical entitlements. Open each offer and compare its displayed benefit list, billing interval, renewal terms and any storage allowance side by side.

Use a simple normalization when periods differ: calculate the total charge across the same intended usage window. For example, compare what each offer would charge over the next twelve weeks rather than comparing one weekly payment with one monthly payment. Keep the result as a planning estimate because tax, eligibility and future renewal changes can alter the final amount.

If an entitlement matters—watermark removal, a particular effect, a cloud allowance or another named capability—confirm that item on the selected checkout or membership screen. A competitor’s feature table cannot prove what the offer currently shown to your account includes.

Also compare payment frequency with your ability to cancel on time. The cheapest normalized rate is not useful when its commitment extends beyond the period in which you expect to edit.

Trials, Renewal and the Real First Charge

Google Play lists trial availability as offer-dependent; Apple shows terms for each in-app purchase. No universal trial duration or eligibility rule follows from those listings.

At checkout, capture:

  • trial length and who qualifies;
  • amount charged today;
  • first paid renewal date and price;
  • billing period after the trial;
  • cancellation deadline and store managing the purchase.

If no trial appears on the actual checkout sheet, do not rely on a blog, video or older screenshot. Trial eligibility can depend on platform, account history, country and current offer. A trial ending does not erase projects, but losing paid entitlement can change access to membership-dependent features; back up important work before plan changes.

Before accepting, save a screenshot or written record of the checkout sheet and the store receipt after purchase. The two records should identify the plan, account, charge, renewal and managing store. This makes later status, cancellation or refund questions traceable without relying on memory or a promotional page that may have changed.

Subscribe and Use Membership Across Devices

Inside Alight Motion, open the profile area, enter My Account, and select Membership Options to view offers available to that account. Complete payment only after the store checkout displays the intended plan and renewal terms.

For cross-platform use, Alight Motion support documents three identity conditions:

  • Android devices use the Google Play account connected to the Android purchase;
  • Apple devices use the App Store account connected to the Apple purchase;
  • Android and Apple devices use the same Alight Motion account.

Billing remains with the store where the membership was purchased, and that purchase may not appear as a subscription inside the other platform’s store. The documented Alight Motion account sign-in limit is three devices, with one user per membership.

Membership access and project files are separate. Projects are stored locally and do not sync merely because the same account is used. Use the iPhone and iPad guide for Apple continuity and the Android guide for Android acquisition.

Cancellation and Refunds

Manage cancellation through the channel that owns the purchase. On Apple, use Apple subscription management; on Android, use Google Play subscription management; for any direct/web plan, use the account or support channel identified on its receipt. Deleting the app does not by itself cancel a recurring membership.

Refund eligibility and timing depend on the purchase channel, plan and current policy. Keep your receipt, order ID, charge date, account details and cancellation confirmation. Another person’s refund outcome does not guarantee yours.

Premium Membership Is Not a Mod APK

“Alight Motion Premium” can mean a paid membership, while “Premium APK,” “Pro APK,” “unlocked APK” or “Mod APK” refers to a modified file. They are not interchangeable. For the modified download and its tested features, see the Mod APK guide.

For watermark-removal steps or a watermark that remains after purchase, use the watermark guide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Alight Motion free or paid?

Alight Motion has both options. The free tier provides basic features and places a watermark on created videos. Paid memberships remove the watermark and provide premium effects and features, with prices and billing periods determined by the user’s current storefront.

How much does Alight Motion Premium cost?

There is no single global price. Cost varies by platform, country, currency, account and current offer. Check the in-app membership checkout for the price due now, billing period, trial terms, renewal price, tax treatment and renewal date.

Does Alight Motion Free have a watermark?

Yes. The primary store descriptions state that videos created with the free tier include a watermark. Paid membership removes it. For removal steps or a watermark that remains after purchase, use the dedicated watermark guide rather than a modified download.

Does Alight Motion have a free trial?

A trial may appear on eligible checkout screens, but availability, duration and eligibility are offer-specific. Only rely on the checkout screen shown to your account, and record the first paid renewal date, renewal amount and cancellation deadline before accepting.

Can one Alight Motion membership work across Android and iPhone?

Yes, when the required Google Play or App Store account and the same Alight Motion account are used. Billing stays with the original store, projects require separate transfer, and the documented Alight Motion sign-in limit is three devices.
