The Alight Motion logo and app icon identify the application across its publisher website and platform-store listings. A copied image should not be presented as an official downloadable brand asset unless its source and reuse permission are documented.

Choose the right image format

Choose PNG for a fixed-size image and SVG only when its source and reuse terms are known. Preview either file against light and dark backgrounds; a dark square may be part of the app icon rather than an unwanted background.

Is the PNG really transparent?

A checkerboard shown inside a downloaded image is not transparency. It can be baked into the pixels. A genuine transparent PNG contains an alpha channel—pixel-level transparency information. Inspect the pixels where the background should disappear; those values should be transparent or partially transparent.

Certain gallery and phone viewers display transparent areas as black. That viewer background does not necessarily mean the file lost transparency. Test the file in an editor or browser that can display a known page color behind it.

The square app icon is different. Its dark rounded-square field may be part of the icon artwork, so removing it can create a derivative rather than a transparent version of the same asset. Label every variant according to what the pixels actually contain.

Color and background variants

You may see black-background, white, circular and transparent logo variants online. These are different treatments, not proof that each is a publisher-supplied asset. Check the pixels, source and usage terms of the exact file you choose.

For a precise color value, sample a known source file. Search thumbnails, compressed screenshots and redraws can shift the hue. A color picked by eye should not be called the publisher’s official brand color.

A circular crop or monochrome treatment is a derivative. It should be labeled as such, retain the original source record and avoid implying that Alight Motion supplied that specific variation.

Usage and trademark notes

Using a logo to identify the app differs from using it on merchandise or another app. For a public campaign, product or storefront, review the current owner guidance and obtain qualified advice when necessary.

Do not use Alight Motion branding to imply that another app, APK or website is published or endorsed by Alight Motion. “Verified,” “partner” and store badges need real authorization.

Use the files accessibly

For an image that identifies the app, concise alternative text such as Alight Motion logo or Alight Motion app icon is sufficient. If nearby text already names the brand and the image is purely decorative, an empty alt attribute can prevent repetition.

Set the image’s width and height, keep its aspect ratio and use a file close to the display size. Avoid loading an unknown image from another website; its content can change without notice.
